Firefox 3

Today I got my (template) certificate for the Firefox download record. They set a Guinness World Record with it … which is not really a surprise, considering that they are the first to enter for it. 🙄

The day after the record, it hit all the news reporting / aggregating services. Obviously there were some reported problems; I thought this little bit was particularly funny. In case you’re not familiar with the innuendo, it refers to a bit called Dance Monkey Boy – the whole thing, if you can find it, is around 20 minutes of Steve Balmer dancing around on a stage at a MS-con rallying the troops.

Have to say, FF3 does seem much faster, although I am running it on a new computer, so that might have something to do with it. 😛 Dropped Google Browser Sync (not supported on FF3 anyway) for Foxmarksmucho happy with it so far! What can I say: get ’em both while they’re hot!
